This summer, as part of a job interview process, I was required to prepare a 30-minute presentation that outlined a vision for an upgraded knowledge management system. If hired, I would then have a chance to implement the envisioned system.
I’m sharing a disguised version of the PowerPoint presentation I created for the assignment. I had minimal information about the current state, and I had no access to company staff after the project was assigned. Therefore, the presentation is higher-level, and the conclusions less supported by interviews and data than I would prepare if I had been an employee or a consultant with full access to the staff.
Alas, although I was a finalist in the process, the job was caught in a hiring freeze and the role was withdrawn.
